When I left my small town of Nablus to the haven of the beautiful city of Amman, the heart of a country that is filled with hope for a prosperous future, I was occupied with nothing but one idea; building a future that will be a basis to have a family and to secure a decent life for it. Amman opened its arms wide for me, and here was my beginning; a humble employee working with sacks of grains and boxes of tee, to which I was looking and wondering: Shall that be my future??
I seized the opportunity of a lifetime, and I decided to take my chances and start a project of producing rock bricks and marble in 1973, and that was the seed. We had to swim against the tide, facing tidal waves and the ebbs and flows of those difficult days, and we never stopped growing, we kept developing, and every time our dream got bigger; hoping to build a shining future, that will grow with us, for us, and for those who will come after us.
I am almost 70 years old now, and in every single morning I wake up, and try to see the steps of my children who grew with the dream, and I am confident that they will have their own future, to further grow up with the ever growing dream, and to assist in the development of their country.
